Melinda Davenport is an Emmy Award-winning marketing and communications executive recognized for shaping global brands, guiding corporate transformation, and managing reputation at the highest levels. She has led enterprise strategy for some of the world’s most influential organizations, including Equinix, Meta, and Kairos Power—delivering measurable results for Fortune 500 companies, high-growth innovators, and mission-driven organizations.
As Vice President at Equinix, the world’s digital infrastructure leader, she drives narrative and internal and external brand voice during an era of AI-driven innovation, transformation, and expansion. Partnering directly with senior leadership, she aligns messaging across 27 countries, leads integrated campaigns that strengthen brand equity, and builds analyst and market engagement in a $78B sector.
While at Meta, Melinda’s strategic vision not only solidified Meta’s internal brand position but also propelled the organization through critical business transitions, including Meta’s brand transition from Facebook, product launches, major restructuring/layoffs, multimillion-dollar acquisitions, and high-profile crises.
In her previous role as Head of Marketing and Communications at Kairos Power, Melinda was pivotal in repositioning the company and elevating its visibility. Under her leadership, the global team achieved a remarkable 621% increase in total average organic reach on social media platforms, demonstrating her ability to drive brand recognition and engagement in a dynamic market.
Beyond her corporate leadership, Melinda is a two-time Emmy Award winner for digital interactivity and news anchoring, and a recognized academic voice, having taught corporate communication and strategic leadership at Marquette University, Champlain College, and the Community College System of New Hampshire.
She serves as an advisor to Boston Common Golf (TGL), Charm Industrial, and Squeeze. She has held board roles with The Salvation Army and the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame—bringing strategic brand positioning, market insights, and crisis readiness to the boardroom.

She holds a Master’s in Corporate & Organizational Communication from Northeastern University and a Bachelor’s in Journalism from the University of Houston.
